War as some might say never changes but the games we play based around war always change. Be it for better or worse.

User Rating: 9 | Napoleon: Total War PC
Napoleon: Total War Is the stand-alone expansion to Empire: Total war. Which is a turn-based strategy/real-time tactics game based around the era of Napoleon Bonaparte. In the main story mode so to speak you start out as Napoleon Bonaparte in his early career. This means that you will be playing as the french army but back then they where a true power to eqaul any who got in there way.

The campaigns in Napoleon: Total War are as follows: First there are Napoleon's early military career. One is the Italian campaign of 1796, while the second is the French invasion of Egypt in 1798. Each have there own main goals and each have side missions that iff done right can make the battles ahead much better for you These are also played out on much smaller but more focussed map with more smaller regions that are based around that area.

The next campaign is the main arc for the french side and is based around there goal for the Mastery of Europe. This resembles the holistic modes of previous Total War games. This is not the only campaign for Napoleon: Total War as you get to play as part of the Coalition. In this you either play as Great Britain, Russia, Prussia or the Austrian Empire and attempt to defeat Napoleonic France. What you do after that is up to you.

I have already talked about a few of the factions but i think it is only fair to list them all. These are the ones you can play as:

Austria - Campaigns of the Coalition and multiplayer (Europe and Italy)
France - Story mode and multiplayer (Europe, Egypt and Italy)
United Kingdom - Campaigns of the Coalition and multiplayer (Europe and Egypt)
Prussia - Campaigns of the Coalition and multiplayer (Europe only)
Russia - Campaigns of the Coalition and multiplayer (Europe only)
Ottoman Empire - Multiplayer (Egypt only)
Portugal - Expansion Pack and Multiplayer (The Peninsula Campaign only)
Spain - Expansion Pack and Multiplayer (The Peninsula Campaign only)

Then there are some of the NPC factions that come in the game:
