Gameplay- To start off this games controls are tight and no real flaws and the games controls are easy to master the B button is for basic hand to hand combat, the A button is for more powerful attacks, The Y button is to throw your oppnent . The combo system in the game is fluid you dont really have to look at the char. combo list when you can find them out easily on your own. Now for the best thing in the game..the counter attack system in this game is by far the best ive ever seen,so your caught in a combo and cant escape..then just press L or R to use a substitution jutsu to escape and counter attack or as soon as you hit the ground and the opponent isnt about to hit you, presss B to roll and not take damage. It can be a little better but its pretty much perfect.
Graphics- The graphics in this game are Cel shaded to represent the Cartoony feel of the Anime its based off of. The backrounds are also a nice touch from waterfalls to cherry blossom trees.
Sound- Is also a treasure to this game the music tracks gives the feel of the anime and every bone crushing hit. The voice actors from the English dub version of the anime also do the voices for every char. in the game whic is a nice touch without having to read through text like Dragon Ball Z Budikai 2 and 3 are.
Value- overall gets a Gold for almost perfect.
Tilt- never gets boring unless you sit there and play it for 5 hours straight
So in the End if you have a Gamecube and love fighting games or a Fan of the Anime/Manga this is a must own
