Graphics were good, but the gameplay got very very boring quickly

I don't own this game; a kid I babysit does and he loves it. He's ten, and I'm thinking this game is definitely aimed towards younger kids. He is very good at it, and hasn't been playing too long. The game, like the gamespot review said, lacks a lot of content and depth that would make the game so much better. The different characters are interesting, but their moves get kind of boring fast. Also, while there are multiple modes such as story mode, a variety of single player modes and multi player modes, all the different modes essentially are the same thing. I'm fairly good at the game after playing a total of about three days (and probably an hour or so each day) and all I do is press the B button; and occasionally some other random buttons as well. Its a total button masher, and this makes it so easy. Also, it is very easy to get money, which you can use to buy things like Handicaps and characters. My friend (who has had the game for like, a week) already unlocked almost everything. Once you get a few handicaps, you can turn them on, such as full special, and just use your special move all the time and it is extremely easy. Because of this, the game gets boring fast. You eventually get used to the players different moves and specials. Watching the same clip of the same special gets boring fast, especially since the game is so easy and the specials are easy to do. I'm so sick of this game and I've only played a few times.
All in all, the game is very easy but I think younger kids might enjoy it more. It might be fun for a few hours but it gets old very fast. I'd say rent it, but its not worth more than ten bucks.
