Wow, this game really surprised me. I thought it would be a lot better than this.

When I first saw Naruto: Clash of Ninja in stock at my local Wal-Mart, I was excited. I had my mom buy it for me, and we took it home. I beat the Story Mode in 10 minutes of getting home (which included unloading groceries.) Of course, I did use a Continue against Zabuza, but that was before I was really used to the control scheme.

A few weeks later, and I don’t ever play it now. It was a total waste of my mother’s $40. I was expecting a lot more fighters and moves than what it offered, but it all disappointed.

The graphics stay true to the anime style. The voice-overs were nice, but it sometimes seemed like Sakura and Naruto had throat problems.

The overall gameplay and fighting mechanics were incredibly easy to get in to. Heck, an infant could master this game.

Overall, Naruto: Clash of Ninja was a major disappointment. I can’t wait for Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2, though. Hopefully, it will be better than its predecessor.
