I bought the japanese version and I saw it coming out on the psp and I thought to myself cool! But the japanese version is soooo much better. The english version does have some stuff the japanese version doesn't but these aren't HUGE changes but there is a mission mode which is like the console versions, a team mode which lets you pick three characters and you can battle in a number of battles to unlock new characters, and a new character select screen, also some characters have different costumes and jutsus but again the japanese version is 10 times better because of the single player story mode in the japanese version. If you want to get a good Naruto brawler get the japanese version that comes with a story mode and 2 more stages and characters than the english version. So you amy not understand Japanese but you will find the japanese version is a lot better than the english version.
