Good game if youve got patience and some time, or a good steering wheel.

At first I thought I had wasted 40 bucks, after the first race. I almost took it back and traded it for need for speed, but I was lazy and waited. Then I started reading the manual and about the voice recognition feature and how you could talk into your headset and have your teamate respond and thought Id give it 1 more try. After playing awhile I found that you have to be careful not to jerk your joystick left and right, you have to ease it very carefully going around corners. It takes a while to get the hang of. A steering wheel would be ideal for this game but most steering wheels I seen cost as much as an xbox. I would probabally give this a 9 if I had a steering wheel. But controls are a little to touchy with the joystick. The graphics arent bad, you can see for long distances but there are some anti-laising issues, or jumpy pixels that remind me of playstation 1. Not enuff to distract though. A good game that gets better with a lot of practice. I cant say what online is like cause I need more practice before i go on. Id get my butt kicked right now I believe. But 4 players is an insult online even if you do have a bunch of computer cars to race against.
