Great for Nascar fans on -the-go. 43 cars on a psp screen! If you have 06 console game, upgrade to this instead.

Nascar on psp is simply awesome for a handheld experience. Nascar fans will experience a higher excitement, but all racers will enjoy this one. You have 43 cars on the track (which no other psp racer that I know of has that many cars) to compete against in either a career mode or season mode, plus challenges to win that are accompanied by video from the series drivers, describing their on-track experience at that particular race and then asking you to put yourself in their situation to see if you can come out on top like they did. The tracks seem pretty similar to the real life tracks, though the 2 restrictor plate one takes some getting used to . Car bodies look fantastic as well. You have modifieds, trucks, and bucsh cars to go with cup cars along with their tracks. That's an added bonus! Handle of the cars is real good and there's not a lot of glitches with car collisions getting too bunched up on such a small psp screen. The game also has a rewind feature (unlike the consoles) that allows you to go back in rewind if you get in a wreck. Also you can stop and save a race and pick up on the last lap you werein if you have to quit the game to go do chores and stuff. The only 2 gripes I have about the game are the car sounds could have been more realistic and there's no rearview mirror--just an indicator arrow showing who's behind you. Most of the game's contents mirror the 07 console versions. I would not buy the console versions if you have last year's 06 version, because it is the same exact game, minus new paint schemes on cars. Get this game as an 07 upgrade for your on-the-go experiences.
