Everything from the games realistic cockpit view, to it's fun career mode makes it a instant classic....

It definetly passes as a good game, it's got the everfun cockpit view, and the graphics are uptight awesome for a 2002 game, and it's career mode keeps you bust, but for hardcore nascar fans, it probably will take you only a week at the most, which leads fans to it's downside. Probably the worst thing of all about the game is the lack of "average" looking nascars in career mode... there just plain out stock and ready for you to slap maybe 10 to 12 at the most sponsors and a small selection of body vinyls on it. You also have to put performance parts on it otherwise you won't be able to keep up with the pack which ruins the meaning of nascar racing (because all the cars have around the same speed and acceleration, but are tweeked different to match different levels of output). I suggest if your a hardcore fan of nascar games that you rent it first..it depends on your game style whether you'd like it or not.
