Ouch.
The Good:
-Good graphics for its time.
-Day to night transition at Charlette (Lowes) made it a fun track.
-You can save your race when on pit road and come back to it later.
The Bad:
-Dreadful audio. The only engine ever really heard is your own, and it's an ugly one at that.
-Physics are neither arcade or simulation. Simply awful. I bump the wall and my gets "grabbed" by the wall and spun out. At times my car randomly gets loose and I spin out. Sometimes I bump another car and I go flying and he drives away like it's nothing.
-No control in pit road or yellow flag. On top of that, they send you green flag racing at an extremely random time.
-No online racing unless you use a direct modem or IPX connection.
-Commentary is annoying as ever.
-Horrible framerate while racing which translates to worthless replays.
If your computer is that old I would suggest getting Nascar Racing 3 or 4 by Papyrus. And if you'd like an easier, arcade experience EA's Nascar Thunder games should do the trick.
