Yes its true this game could be much better
Nascar 2005: chase for the cup is a pretty good game all around. The graphics on the cars arent great , same with the track so there is alot of room to improve them. The gameplay in the game gets a little repetitive and coming from a nascar fan this isnt good , especially since the gameplay in 2004's nascar game was different every race. Every thing else is mediocre on this game
The Important Game Modes:
Fight to the top: This mode is basically the career mode of the game you go from the the bottom serie and fight your way up to the top which is represented by the nextel cup series. The career mode in this game is nothing compared to the nascar thunder 2004's career mode this fight to the top is ok. The lack of sponsers , painschemes and other things it used to have really disappoints me.
Race Now: This year only 2 players are allowed to play. This is another disappointing feature. In 2004 you could play 4 player with all of your freinds.
Lightning challenges: Once again disappointing many of the challenges are from the 2004 game. Only 5 or 6 new ones
ok I will just stop here this game sickens me. I am going to play thunder '04 you should too dont waste your money on this or 06
