A nice little gem found on the Wii

I am surprised by this game. Granted the wii doesn't have the graphical capability of the 360 or PS3 it can produce almost an identical game with a better frame rate. Now the controls are something to note here, The standard motion controls for the Wii are at times unresponsive. I have played half my game with the Wii mote and Nun-chuck and the other half with the classic controller, and in my opinion the classic controller is the way to go if you want a truly enjoyable and complete basketball experience .
Overall this is the best basketball game you find on the wii (not saying much as there were only 3 nba games released) but it also would rank up in the top 5 or 10 sports games for the wii also. There are a lot of game modes to keep you happy and enjoying this game, My player which lets you create a virtual you and work you way on to a NBA team by achieving certain goals along the way. NBA Today which when hooked up to the internet lets you re-live real time games that are going on that day. NBA Blacktop which includes a slam dunk contest, Three point contest and Pickup games like 21, 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 or 5 on 5. Along with all the other modes that have been common in 2k sports games, Association , Season, exhibition games and so on.
Also a nice feature is the team up mode. As long as you have a internet connection you can team up with four other players to take on 5 other players, you chose your player, set up a team or a "crew" and play games against others from all over the world.
Overall this game is worth the 50 bucks and it will keep you happy for a while
