Disappointing more than not
Lets do this short and sweet. 2k servers suck bad. I got the draft combine and cannot load my player I created. I cannot even stay on long enough to play any of the new "crew" features or online games. This tells you hand s down this game wasnt close to finished. Rosters are disastrous, framerate is terrible at times, and the "My Player" mode is a good addition, but limited by limited camera angle compared to draft combine. I basically wasted money on draft combine because I cannot load my player.
I think that sums up the negative. On a positive note, commentary is by far the best I have ever seen. Almost like they updated it to each day. NBA Today feature where you can play todays games, if any, are presented right down to the details. Commercials for upcoming games makes you feel like you are watching a real game on ESPN or NBATV, where they inform you of upcoming games.
So, when it comes to presentation, 2k gets it on the head, gameplay and servers issues take away from the games new features. hopefully the problems will be fixed, but if not this game will not reach its full potential, and live will gain ground on it.
