ive been into playing basketball video games since early 90s. i played NBA live when it was still at its prime during the 90s, back then when it was jordan's heyday, the somehow couldn't get the license of jordan forcing players to play the bulls SG as "Player." more than a decade later they finally got MJ to be in the game. its everything from how detailed and accurate his moves are...the way his pinky flicks after a fade away shot or his signature gather he used in his last game winning shot against russel and the jazz. this game absolutely nails it! this also speaks for the accurate movement and mo-caps of other NBA stars.
its very realistic, you cant throw passes in clogged lanes anymore, even fastbreaks are a bit of a challenge now...just the way basketball is. when i play this, i think im playing a basketball game...and if you play with that mindset, you can beat the tough AI even on superstar mode. as for some geeks (cough..cough.. gamespot) who dont really know or understand the game, stick with nba jam. this is not for you.
