The best NBA video game I've played so far!

When they feature Michael Jordan, the video games which do have failed to allow the avatar to genuinely look and play like Jordan. Any video gamer and Jordan fan will immediately admit that the avatar is performed by a motiona capture actor. However, NBA 2K11 is almost perfect in its depiction of the superstar. The depiction is amazing in that facial expressions and signature moves are Jordans alone. I was also surprised to find Scottie Pippen's and Larry Bird's moves and mannerisms to be their own in this game too (except for their facial expressions which are still obviously CGI. I do not believe this to be achieved solely with an actor's motion capture but I believe that game moves were captured from actual video footages and then incorporated into a digital world for a more authentic feel of the NBA! Advance technogy of the kind is already here.


What I hate about this game is the inability to customise uniform shorts. Magic Johnson and John Stockton were popularly known to wear only short shorts for most of their entire career in LA and Utah respectively. Some players simply look better in short shorts. This game will allow you to customise uniforms except for the shorts.
