I am not going to write a long review, but write down my experience and comments:-
I played Myplayer mode for THREE complete seasons as a PF, 6'11". I was choosen by Wizards in the draft, and played TWO seasons, then traded to Heats in the Third season. I played at "Superstar" level.
Game play and A.I. (Am I playing a Game or a game playing me?):
Actually, I did not activate this option as I wanna play it in my own way, but sadly found that my teammates were not playing at their standard level, no pick & roll, no allyoops, no passes, no 3 points...etc. Then, as told by some players in the forum, I switched on the "Play" system. Then, I had to follow the directions / orders in every offense. OK, my teammates were playing at a better level, but they always spent the whole 24 seconds, just shoot before the last second....my jobs were to catch rebound and box-out only, PF was not suppose to shoot at all.
If I choose not to follow the orders, my teammates will go crazy on the ground again.....
I really feel boring to follow the orders in each play, I just had to focus on the line / sign showed on the ground, sometimes even felt I was not playing a game, but the game playing me.....
Yes, I was playing "Superstar" level, but could you tell me, why my teammates playing at this poor level? In Miami Heats, Wade got >10 pts & >5 assists ....Bosh got >5 pts & >5 rebounds in average...they ARE star players, but played like a rookie?
OK, I agreed with those players who claimed NBA is to follow the "plays"; but my question is, if I strictly followed the "plays", and I just need to control my player to follow every orders, is it still a game? Why didn't my teammates be more smart that will response to my actions... create space for me... run to the most appropriate position... shoot when he feels good... try to block the shooter at the last second... not bringing the to backcourt... etc.
I was playing FIFA15 at the same time, I know, soccer did not have "play" like NBA, but in FIFA15, my teammates will response to my actions....and I DO think I am controlling a REAL player, but not a robot that follow orders.....
Can you see the difference?
