If you've been playing 2k since it came out in late 1999 like myself, then this game probably just doesn't do it for you. For me the best 2k basketball game will always be 2k11 (unless 2k can figure it out again). They keep getting further away from that model and it's just not working for me anymore. 2k used to be unique, now it has a mainstream EA sports like feel to it. Adding this "new" shot meter was where I decided to walk away from this game. It doesn't make sense anymore and like I said in the title, its just not the same....
