NBA 2K17 saw improvements in gameplay, especially defensively, and 2K18 further improved on that foundation. Great graphics, smooth animations and gameplay. GM and franchise modes are fantastic. MyTeam is a great mode once again. MyCareer has horrible acting, is irritating and cannot be bypassed. I think folks were mad about them starting you at 60 and the game forcing you to grind or buy VC to get to a reasonable rating, I agree, that sucks. They should adjust that rating based on how you perform early on instead of mak8n* you suffer unnecessarily. For that, I give the game a 9. I never felt compelled to buy VC for any other mode.
