I am an avid follower of the 2k series and find NBA2k6 an addictive installment to the already well established franchise. It plays a lot better than the Live series although it doesnt have as many features and it offers more realism. Honstly if Live and the 2k series were to somehow fuse their thoughts together we'd have one fantastic basketball game that could achieve the same success the Madden franchise has for football. 2k6 is definately a step in the right direction for the franchise but it just needs a little more emotional interaction from the players, the bench, the coaches and the fans. I've often wondered how the stadium doesn't go into a frenzy in a close match between rivaled teams such as the Lakers v. Kings like they do in live NBA broadcast. I also think that 2k sports can improve the street ambience in the game by adding an atmosphere similar to NBA Street or the upcoming And 1 Streetball game. Regardless this is a solid game that I play daily. There is still room for improvement though.
