This game is actually better than 2k6 as long as you are not looking for the best of the best graphics on the market. The gameplay is much improved as far as the player motions as they look quite realistic from that stand point. The graphics are not much improved if any and the sound as as last years rendition, is marginal for the announcers. They still say stupid things. For one example I was losing by 3 points and scored a 2 point basket so im down by 1 and i think Kevin Harlen said something like "with that basket they take the lead." That is only a slight problem tho. If u have 2k6 i would suggest renting it first to see if u really like it and if u dont but want and NBA game get this one becuase i do believe this is the suppior game because of the player motions are far better and the other things in the game are either not changed or are only slightly improved. The player ratings are off too but that is alright becuase u can still dominate the game with a players that are around 80s overall. The game is a little dissappointing and not worth full price but if u can find this at a reduced price i would say its a deal. This game is a very high 10 if u dont care about new graphics or really good sound. If u like the 2k NBA series then u cant go wrong with this game!
