NBA 2k9 is a slam dunk
Game play: NBA 2k9 plays just like all the others 2k's but with new features and a more in depth game play. Even though the game doesn't have a lot of new features. Its still enough to keep this basketball franchise going.
Graphics: NBA 2k9 sadly looks like 2k8 for instance Pau-Gasol doesn't look anything like he does. A lot of sprites look reused and untouched. Kobe,Lebron,Wade,Duncan, all other big stars look exactly like they do in r/l minor role players, and bench players look nothing like they do in real life and is a total upset. Other then the characters the jerseys look great the courts look good. And not to forget the balling Nike's they rock look great.
Replay Value/Total time spent: Just like every other basketball game their is an association mode, a season mode and other things that keep you entertained. You can import draft classes from NcAA games to keep your association mode interesting. Not only that but this game is a blast this game will keep you and your friends asking each other for rematches day and night. This game is fun to comeback to and play scenario mode and other things that are a nice addition and a blast to play.
Overall: NBA 2k9 is a great basketball game with good game play and graphics that could be touched up here and their. But all in all NBA 2k9 for the PlayStation2 deserves a 8/10
