Let me just say this, "I love this game." As in the NBA. I've been dribbling a basketball up and down stairs since i can remember. I grew up watching the Lakeshow and the still coherent Chick Hearn on a push button Sony TV set religiously as a child. I even played some college ball. I love basketball. Furthermore, I've been playing EA basketball titles since Bulls vs. Blazers on Sega Genesis and have watched the title evolve into what is today...which is what it was last year, and the year before, and the year before that. Let me say that I'm not trying to get EA to reinvent the wheel but it just seems like they add some new mode every year and label it "THE BEST LIVE SERIES EVER"!
I bought this game and played it for about an hour and put it down. My buddies came over to play it we played half a game and threw on NBA 2K2 with roster changes and had a blast. Then threw on Fifa 06 after a discussion about how bland the gameplay in Live is. I would say that if you own any b-ball already...let this one go. If you don't then I suggest grabbing a bargain bin 2K title and updating the rosters yourself you'll have a much more entertaining experience.
