If you liked Live 06, you're gonna like 07. If you hated 06 then you're gonna hate 07. It's that simple. I say this since the game pretty much plays the same though some things are a little more easier to do now like scoring. So for gamers who love running up and down the court and scoring 40 points per 8-minute quarter then this game will do it for you. Frankly speaking, I had high hopes for this game and when I finally got to take a gander at it and play it, I was quite disappointed with what I saw. I'm not talking about graphics and sounds. Both departments are what you'd about expect from a PS2 in this day and age. What disappointed me the most was the gameplay in some areas. People still skating around and players who bunch up in the paint who try to get a rebound end up pushing each other mid-air and getting launched in the wrong direction a good 6-feet making the replays look extremely awkward and downright ridiculous. The basketball still manages to pass through people's faces, bodies and hands and the AI is still pretty much the same. They still pretty much shoot whenever they want especially when they're down in points. I suggest playing with a friend most of the time since they AI just seems to be cheating instead of being smarter. In conclusion, it's a fun game for those who like spectacular, buzzer-beating, high-flying, clutch playing basketball. But for the player who desires more realism, it would be best to look elsewhere.
