When you buy the game you would expect a enjoyable and fun game of basketball sadly this is not the case. Firstly the gameplay, even on amateur this game can be annoying when trying to score baskets. It always seems that it hits the rim unless you have a decent player like iverson in which case about 4/10 go in. The graphics are no better than last years attempt though have improved a little. This game is lacking in areas that you would hope to be in the game for example create a player would boost the lifespan and more mini games. Whilst on the subject of mini games they aren't fun at all. Firstly a boring 3 point contest where you have 5 attempts from different areas of the stadium to score and then the player who has scored least is eliminated. Another is the head to head game where you have to score a set amount of baskets before your opponent to win the game. The other is like the basketball version of keepy uppys where you have to press a set of buttons before the timer runs out to get a perfect or good. On the good side though franchise mode has been added (affectively career mode) where you take charge of any team in the NBA league and sort out staff members, team morale ect. Although this should have added months of gameplay onto the game it adds only a couple of hours on before you'll get bored and start playing your old games again.
Pick this up if its cheap or rent it but don't pay full price for it else your be dissappointed.
