PRESENTATION 6/10
The game menus sometimes freeze for several seconds at a time, the in-game camera moves extremely slowly, and the player animations are mediocre at best.
GRAPHICS 7/10
Although player close-ups and cut scene animations are passable, the in-game graphics leave a lot to be desired, and it is not uncommon to see players dribbling the ball up court backwards.
SOUND 8/10
All the same sound you've grown to expect from NBA Live.
GAME PLAY 6.5/10
This game plays extremely slowly and CPU-controlled players often ignore their assignments completely. And, as much fun as it is to throw down an alleyoop jam, NBA Live 09 makes it far too easy.
A full dynasty mode, coupled with the fact that you can play through a full season in Be A Pro mode, give this game strong lasting appeal and has the potential to keep gamers busy for months.
