This game is worth buying; I bought Live 10 as i really felt positive about the demo and the final edition doesn't really disappoint. I say 'really' because i have small gripes with post moves being watered down to mostly nothing of note and the fact that when on a break (off a turnover) your teammates don't fill the lanes correctly or run with any urgency (and i always turn the speed slider to the full amount) to get the transition dunk/layup. Also, there is not one standout feature -- like a career mode -- to add a new wrinkle to the overall package; i also would have liked a street-ball option like 2k has.
In terms of a number rating: I would say an 8/8.5 is a worthy rating. The defense is amped up to degrees that can frustrate but i consider it a challenge and a real accomplishment to make it into the lane for a jam.
