I was a big fan of NBA Live in the 90's and then 2K just flat out surpassed live with better gameplay in the 2000's. Have to say I've kind of gotten a little board with 2k the last couple of years so I gave Live a shot this year. The game is fun. No more players skating or floating on the court like old days. I love the shot meter and feedback. I don't feel like it's strictly stat and luck driven. Tons of gamemodes. I messed around a bit with "the rise" and ones and it's pretty cool, just doesn't keep me interested long. I'm a simple guy and mostly just want to get into the season mode and maybe do a fantasy draft. I wish there was a custom playoff mode when I just want to get right into it!! Picky gripe though. Enjoying the game, looks great on the pro!
