I would probably say that NBA live 05 is a much better game than the newer series. It's more simple to play and it features a really cool Allstar Weekend mode so that you can enter exciting competitions and play against the best of the NBA. Also, the Dynasty mode makes the game more realistic since it's like you are the coach of a real NBA team. You can also customize your players skills and looks to suit your style. Not only is this game fun but also challenging, giving you four adjustable playing difficulties to match your level of experience. Another interesting feature is the Slam dunk school, which allows you to perform awesome looking dunks which you can use in the Freestyle Dunk Challenge. It's a cool "extra" to keep players busy with this game. NBA live 05 has everything you need to keep you satisfied in playing b-ball.
