While it can be weird playing Mario as a basketball player, V3 is easily the best basketball game to date.

The game is awesome. I was in love with the first NBA street, and to know doubt this is another good game. The gameplay is perfect and fluid so the intracate design of the game won't distract you from playing it. Visually, this game is remarkable. Mapping, lighting effects, and pixilization is near realism... except for Mario and his gang. It is definitely weird to be playing as Princess Peach or Mario, but nonetheless, they still play well and V3 is easily the best basketball game to date. The audio is solid and makes well use of sychronization of footsteps and dribbling as well as voicing. It's an excellent game and it's a must own for anyone who owns a GCN, PS2, or XBOX.
