This game has so much in it that it will keep you addicted and playing for more. The abiliy to add famous players to your team like shaq later in the game is alot of fun. Having rivals, doing challanges, and basically like being in the ghetto of the nba. The impossible abilities the players have (Look how high they hop!) make it much better than nba ilve or any other game. Of course, when you play as Mario, or as I like to call, ghetto mario. Of course, the announcer...he's just wierd. I mean he says amazing things like, "EEEEEEEERRRRR!!! EEEEEEEERRRRRRR!!!" Then, "He passed the rock into the biskit and brought home the basket of treats!" Of course, after turning him off, friends might like to impersonate mario like I did, and say in a mario tone of voice, "Your momma don't have any game!" "You couldn't clean a pipe if you have an electric biskit cleaner!" Any game that does this to a person is obviously worth playing. The edit skills and the trick stick are alot of fun, and add great variety. These allow you to edit your player to look more like you, buying clothes for him, and choosing his skills. The trick stick allows you to do selective skills, and depending on whether your holding 1, 2, or all three turbo buttons ( R+L+Z) on how advanced your moves are. The trick stick is controled with the C-Stick and can be used in either the air or on land. This adds alot of variety, but most of the time you'll just be pushing it in random directions. This game has alot to it, including funny tutorials (What is this guy saying!), to good AND really bad hip-hop music while in the menu screens. (Beastie Boys=REALLY BAD!!! Just wait till you hear them!) The street challenge mode is the dynasty mode we all love, except alot easier to use. This is simple, fun, and a great time for anybody, the animations are smooth and the graphics are amazing. This is a must play for any gamecube owner.
