NBA Street Vol 2 serves up B-Ball with style.

User Rating: 9.6 | NBA Street Vol. 2 PS2
The first game was good this one is great. NBA Street Vol 2 pick up the antics where the first game left off. With updated rosters, new moves, graphics, and inhanced gameplay techniuqes its an outstanding romp and a smashing great time. Not satisfied with just updating rosters NBA Street Vol 2 enhances gameplay and other areas from the ground up. The new moves, announcer, and ballers will have you play all through you sleepless gaming nights. The premise hasnt changed, for the unfamiliar you play three on three street ball. First to 21 wins. Gamebreaker ad and take away points in that order for you and you opponent. The first area youll notice that has changed is the Graphics. a complete overhaul it has a light feel of cell shading. The graphics and mo cap are much better than the last games adding more jukes, jives, dekes, dunks and the like at your finger tips. There are now NBA legends including three versions of Jordan for all you MJ nuts. Each legend has his own sig move. In addition the new and returning Street Ballers have their own Sig move as well. New characters include Dime(female), Osmosis, Whitewash, and Biggie Littles. Each of the street ballers this time around will be to your liking as they are all usuefull. The gameplay adds more to the controls. You can now bounce the ball of your opponent's head and different ways through their legs. This opens up a new area of clowning as I like to call it that is not yet seen in any game like it. Your gamebreakers have even changed now. You can do a level one or two. The level one is just like the first and take less points from the opponent. The level two is a spectacular desplay of uncontrol mayhem. This time around the gameplay is much better. The music is superb as it takes old school rap and new school hip hop and blends the right kind of balling music together. Make no mistake if you dont like rap youll hate this but this is a game in society that is based on a hip hop foundation to expect something else would be foolish. The announcer has changed but is still funny as hell and hey you can even turn him off and just listen to music if you want. The intros of each character has changed while they do not have voiced the DJ Bobbito talks about them while they do tricks to show you their skills. This time they will put you to the test each and every one of them including the smallest of the group Biggie Littles. The single player game is still great and has been changed to alter a more tournament reflection. The multiplayer mode has changed a bit too as you have different things to play for such as trick points, dunks only, and other variations on the game. This is a worthy addition to put you money up for. It is not just more of the same. Its like a remixed version with lots of spice. All areas of this game are great and had it been online Wow Id have too much fun. Pick up your copy and start balling. PEACE!!
