Well i preorder my PSP 3 weeks before the US launch and so i ordered NBA a few days before the release of PSP off ebay, right before BobCs review came up. And let me say i seriousley wish i wouldnt of gotten it. To put it bluntly the game sucks! Graphics- The Graphics are the major saving grace for the game. Theyre crisp and clear and very buetiful. Some problems arise on the court however since theyre is little to no way to know which player is which if your not a fan of the player and know theyre typical gear. Aside from that the Graphics will wow you! Also the fans looks very good in the game GameModes- Quick Play is exactly what youd expect. Online i have not tried due to a lack of a wireless working router, however i seriousley wouldnt get your hopes up due to the overall horrible controls. Game Modes which include your Typical Season, Playoff, Practice, and Exhibition mode which are pretty self explanitory. THEYRE IS NO DYNASTY MODE. Just want to make that obviouse since that probaly would of bumped up the score a little. Then theyre are Mini Games. The Playstation Challeneg actualy sounds like a very cool idea however its just entirely to confusing and boring to be any fun, which is a real shame because it is a unique idea where you must complete these certain basketball tasks before other star players. However. The next Minigame is called Paint. The idea is to paint the court by making shots against an opponent *you both have balls* and you score 1,2, or 3 points based on how close to the basket you are. This is has the potential to be a very aesome mini game. However its so incredibley easy in my first try i won 25-4 :|. If you do somehow get this game this game could be extremely fun online, if the minigames are able to play online. The last minigame is called 3 point challenge. and its your basic 3 point shootout. Its very basic and not very fun. Sound-Put simpley the sound in the game is very bad. The music is ok but its just replayed so damn much it gets extreely annoying, extremely quick. The on the court sounds arent horrible but theyre not good either. Theyre are no Commentators. An the crowd sounds are very generic and recycled over and over. Controls- Oh god This is where this game goes from being a good game that i could recomedn to being a piece of garbage. Put quite simply the controls are horrible. you have to tap a button twice to shoot, and for some reason its an allyoop *Even ifyour like at half court :|* The dunks are boring, if you have a guy whos a good 3 point shooter like Richard Jefferson your pretty much always going to win since you can just sit behidn the 3 line and score over and over. The Spin move in the game is utterly usless. The list just goes on and on. Lets just say the contols suck Overall- Stay away from this game. Aside from the graphics and a good thing here or there this game is just plain bad and i cant recomend it to even the most die hard basketball fan.
