Inaccurate rosters, wrong fight songs, and lack of console features mar the wonderful game play and graphics of the game

First of all, I had to decide whether to get this game or this years version. Unfortunately EA didn't make a PSP version of 08, so I had to purchase this game. It was worth the purchase, however if you are a hardcore college football fan, there are a few noticeable problems that take away for an otherwise very good game. For starters, running between the tackles is almost impossible, due to a glitch that causes the runners to run in motion when they come in contact with their own linemen. This wasn't too much of problem for me, since there is usually a fairly large hole for you to run through on some of the running plays.

Second, the rosters aren't not even compatible with the rosters on the console versions or real life rosters. Players such as Steve Slaton, Percy Harvin, Calvin Johnson, and Pat White, just to name a few, either have lower stats then they should, are listed wearing the wrong number, or listed with the wrong college status (Freshmen, Sophomore, etc.). Finally, the fight songs are played correctly during the main menu, though, once an actual game begins two fight songs are heard, regardless of what team you play as and against. I played as Michigan for dynasty mode, and I never heard the fight song of Michigan played during game play, even when I was at the "Big House" or after scoring ( I averaged over 40pts. per game). Besides these annoyances, this game is pretty solid. The A.I. is very good, but is susceptible to big plays. Strange man on man coverage animations occur sometimes, causing the A.I. to land big plays when you don't expect it. The graphics are really nice for such a small system and the game can have you playing hours upon hours.

This game is worth the value, but it seemed as if EA became lazy with some features.
