Great College Basketball game but...

March Madness always plays better than anyone College Basketball game out there, but this year seems way to similar to last year. Nothing really new added exepct for the updated rosters, and the go to guy feature which really doesnt do very much when playing the game, and the Home court advantage is not there. The lockdown stick still is one of the best things to happen to any basketball game and the best play-by-play commentators in probley any sport. There are a few bad points to March Madness. Some things are that other than the Maui and the NCAA tourament there arnt any other pre or post season touraments, if they added both NITs and the Great Alaskian Shootout dynasy most would be great; also when you get to the NCAA tourney they courts are just the plan old court, not the real courts they play it (ex. Nationwide arena) and if they couldnt get the real courts at least they could make it so you didnt change gyms after every game since they change every 2 games in the real thing. Another thing that would help are altnate jerseys, because who doesnt like Duke's Black Jerseys. But the biggest flaw in March Madness 07 is that EA Sports worked so hard to get ESPN and they dont even use it in the game, other than being on the cover of the game ESPN very little exposure, the only ESPN in the game is when you look at your stats its says ESPN on top of the screen, there is no ESPN ticker or ESPN radio like that found in MVP NCAA Baseball, and the scoreboard in the game is the same old one EA Sports has had since the PSX days, no resemblence to the one you see when watching a game on ESPN. Overall EA Sports March Madness 07 is an OK game, it has the best game play of any college basketball game but the passion of the game and ESPN isnt really all there. I have bought the March Madness game 7 out of the last 8 years (bought the 2k game in 2002) and if a few changes arnt made in 08 i could go back to the 2k college basketball game.
