Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness

Unless you just have to have all things "Lovecraft" or really like these kind of "click the picture" games....skip it.

I never really liked Myst and stuff like that. I've really tried but any game where you just click on objects, manage an inventory and move from picture to picture with long load times just kind of puts me to sleep well before anything interesting happens.

This thing starts out way too slowly and doesn't promise enough to make me plug on to see what happens next.

This is the boring way to do a "Lovecraft" game...."Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" is the game you are actually hoping for when you load "Necronomicon".

It's kind of "buggy" as well. I had problems with the sound not matching up with the characters and a few crashes.

Unless you pick it out of a bargain bin for $5 or less I'd take a pass.
