The PSP version of Need for Speed: Carbon makes up for the horrible PS2 version. The custom mods have been removed and the drifting has been tweaked to make it tougher. Fortunately, all of this can be learned in a short period. To say the least, NFS Carbon: Own the City isn't as difficult as you'd come to expect. It's just what the title suggests. Also, it doesn't make for a long game but it's sweet enough. The gameplay is tightly squeezed and squashed, but still removes some vital points to add more playability. Graphically, it isn't a modern genius but lives up to PSP standards. It sounds well too, since EA's boring soundtracks are new and hip. The controls will take some time to learn, but all in a good time. Possibly, one of the greatest games out on the PSP.
