Best of the NFS series by far

When I first purchased this game from EB Games, I was assuming that there'd only be a couple of older muscle cars to choose from. Thinking to myself about last years random unheard of: Black Edition, I decided to go ahead and shell out the extra 10$ for the collectors edition and boy did it pay off! I started up the game and was immersed in a world and storyline that instantly caught my interest. The cars are simply amazing. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. The Collectors Edition comes with extra cars not obtainable in the regular one... so I would recommend that you buy this.

Free roam is still around, so that's a major plus; and they edited something about free roam... you are no longer required to drive to every single race... you can simply "jump to event". For everyone wondering about cops.... yes they still do exist and they're a lot more presistant than NFS MW. This time around the challenges actually give you rewards for every 3 in a row you do, not after about 50 of them >_>. You have bronze, silver, and gold challenges all in a row. After the gold challenge you can unlock something. And there are side challenges as well, such as hit so many police vechicles and get away in career mode; which gives you an actual reason to get chased by the police.

YES! FINALLY! Catch-up is finally turned off for the CPU... and yes they DO make mistakes. For the love of God, now I don't have to worry about being 15 seconds ahead of someone and watching the clock on their behind-time go down by 5 seconds each time.

Music is a real downer this year. Worst music from the franchise yet... I rather have the music from MW.... or even from need for speed hot persuit >_> (Yeah... it IS that bad)

Crew members can annoy the crap out of you with their "driver on your 6... watch out" when the "driver" they're talking about is about 4 seconds behind you >_>... then again you can always turn off the voice... but then you can't hear the police voices either.... they need a way to mute the crew.

Also, one last thing... muscle cars sound differently and they don't have the exact same sound as the next muscle car. Example: Dodge Charger R/T sounds nothing like the mustang. Dodge Charger has an idle sound which is a really nice effect for the series.... I wish it was an all muscle car game... but meh... it's easy enough to own Exotics and Tuners :)
