It is quite apparent that EA started out to do something great with the customization tool in NFS carbon, however the vehicle control is terrible to put it mildy. The races are o.k with the exception of the ridiculous Canyon Drift, the vehicle handling is quite tedious. my impression of the other races is that not much thought went into them. The cop chases in this game disappoint esecially when compared to NFS Most wanted . Drift races and Boss races were more of an irritation than a challenge. All in all the vehicle selection is good (best cars come after about 75% complete) NFS carbon is not a game for someone new to the racing genre or the NFS Brand as i can imagine it will cause some poor kid a great deal of frustration. EA games is batting 2 for 2 with the NFS brand if they are true to form the next NFS game should be good however NFS Carbon is quite disappointing!
