An excellent addtion to the PSP library.

This game is a very solid racer. Anyone whose played Need for Speed Most Wanted, Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0, or Need for Speed Carbon on the consoles should know how great a racing game this series is. Carbon for the PSP is different from the consoles. You play as a racer trying to uncover his brother's death by.... well, racing other people. His brother died in a car crash. Yeah...... but the story has little to do with the racing you do.

Controls:

Pretty basic controls. You press X button to accelerate, square to brake and O is you wingman activation button. you can turn using the D-pad or the the analog stick. Overall the controls work well.

Gameplay:
The most important(and luckily best) part of the game. As metion your a crew leader who wants to find out about his brother's death and you do this by racing. The racing is very solid. You can participate in circuit, sprint, and Lap Knockout races.You can even free roam around the city. You participate in races to win money to fix your car and customize it. But the best addition is the wingmen. You can recruit people to help you win races. They can help you draft off them or take out the opposition. This adds much excitement to the race.

Overall this is an excellent game and recommended for fans of the series or any racing fan. Happy racing.
