this game is not as good as i was hoping. First off I loved the fact that you can choose a car based on what you like best for example, exotic, those cars put an edge to the game. Second i was suprised that EA brought back drifting, that was my favorite kind of racing in the previous games. the only thing i really hated was the cop chases for me most of the time t took me 10-15 mins to get through ones . One of the upsides to the chases is you can acctually hit a spikestrip and resume driving your car is a bit slower but that didn't stop me. another down side to the game , it was to short i was suprised that it took me like 5-6 hours to beat the game (im a hard core veteran for NFS) it is kind of not fair that the xbox360 version gets slightly different cars than the regular xbox i was bummed about that (i wanted to drive the saleen) but aside from that what really suprised me was cross'es return i didnt expect him to be in this game. what confused me was the first video of the movie i didnt get what where the story took place i thought at first it was a wacked up version of NFS underground. and who was nickie and who was darius i've never seen any of them in any of the games. another thing that confused me was the part where you are being chased be cross the video that follows is strange, the quote "how dare you show your face here!" from nickie. States that you have surely been in palmont before. well thats all i got and maybe the next game will tell the answers to this one. enjoy NFS carbon the newest installment to the need for speed series.
