The Need and Greed

It's been a while since I played my last racer (PS2: NFS-underground), and I didn't have a proper Racegame on the PS3 yet (next to wipeout HD). So, I thought it was time to buy a Need for Speed game....The NFS series always had some good games. Hot pursuit for the PS3 immediately caught my attention, since I used to play this on the PSX. And it was addictive then. This version came with a Buffed up, facebook-type, social media addition called Autolog. I could not imagine how this would work in combination with a racing game. But, apparently it worked very well, as long as you had enough friends with the same game. When "a" friend beats you, invites you, gained rewards or posted photos, autolog would let you know in-line! It gives the game a whole other dimension, at makes it even more addictive then it already is. The graphics were just right and tight; I experienced only one graphic-bug, which was "falling" below the ground when restarting a mission too fast. The sense of speed is really back in this version of NFS, and the additional Police cars and weapons on both sides (Racer or Cop) are just awesome. The Need for Speed and the Greed for Rewards and trophies are the reasons I'm still playing this game.
