A great game with a few flaws holding it back.
Gameplay.
The games best selling point is it's gameplay. Exhiliration and speed are included which is a must in a racing game. There are many game modes including the basic race and drag race. There are more interesting modes like lap knockout where last place is kicked out of the race after each lap. There are also two races which are basically get to the checkpoint going really fast or get to the checkpoint before time runs out.
The most fun part of this game by far is the cop chasing. It is fun fast paced and every time it is different. You can destroy structures to block the cops paths and destroying a road block is always fun. There are a bunch of cars and there are actually differences between the way they handle and you can tune them to make them faster or just make your car pretty.
Graphics
The graphics are okay. The environments look pretty bad and it's not because of a blur effect they just are lackluster. The good portion of the graphics were used on the people who look more like people then most other games I've played this generation.
Sound
There is licensed EA soundtrack but with little variety. While fitting in 1 or 2 hip hop songs the soundtrack is mostly littered with screaming metal or crying emo. While I wasn't too fond of the soundtrack you don't really get to hear it over the sound of your engine or the police reports or you crashing.
Value
Value is high because there are alot of cars to unlock, a career and a challenge mode, and multiplayer. Plus the cop chases are never getting old.
Tilt
I enjoyed this game alot and thats basically the only reason the tilt is high.
