If you liked Underground and Hot Pursuit, you have to see this!

User Rating: 8.6 | Need for Speed Most Wanted GC
Back to street racing but with a storyline to tell. This time you'll have to build a career among other street racers, and all the great racing modes are back, circuit, drag, sprint, knockout and two news, speedtrap and tollbooth. The first ones are as, you may imagine, a circuit of 2 to 4 laps around some points in the city; drag, testing your perfect timing for shift -a little more challenging than in Underground-; sprint, just going from one point to another; and knockout, same as circuit but eliminating last one each lap. For the new modes, speedtrap is a very challenging kind of race where you have to pass as fast as possible through several points in a route, and you win even if you finish last, as long as you add more speed than your competitors. The tollbooth option is also so much fun, as you'll race alone going from one tollbooth to another (altought sometimes the tollbooths are in very rare places), in a time limit.
The variety of cars is very good, but one or two Ferraris could be a nice addition. The models look good and the light effects are very good. The game, overall, looks astounding as is played completely in daylight. There are some cool videos to get in the mood, and the police pursuits get harder and more exciting each time.

There is also a set of separate challenges -more than 60-, that allows you to just jump in without further "commitment", just for the fun.

For the drawbacks, you may encounter, suddenly, that a very smooth looking wall has a kind of invisible "imperfections" that can actually flip over your car, if you happen to be sliding against it. This could be very annoying and frustrating when running at full speed. The music helps you get in mood also, but can get somehow repetitive. Also, take care of that, from time to time, you may get the game frozen, even inside a garage.
