Add a few cop cars, a new city, but is that enough for this latest edition of need for speed?
Whats New? Cop cars/pursuits bring some joy to the game, but can be annoying and repetitve after the first few times, basically you try to outrun several cop cars, using landmarks on the way, like detonating fuel pumps, yeah it can be fun, the first time, but not the tenth time!
The story for this version is AWESOME, compared to the last game, this one has a more detailed, exciting story, at the start you play out the last six years of your street racing career, I won't spoil it, but in the end things do not go your way, basically leaving you wilth a terrible excuse for a car to start with, much like underground!
But the story for the rest of the game is intense and exciting as you try to work your way up the "blacklist" a chart for racers in "rosewood"
Each segmant, your next rival will plan out a few races that you must complete to challange for his place in the "blacklist", until you move your way up to 1st where you will colide with an old nemesis from the past, again I don't want to give much away!
Other than that you can expect a very similar ride to "underground", in fact not much difference at all, if you liked "underground" this WILL be worth buying, if you have never played need for speed, (if you live on mars that is), then i suggest you try before you buy, might not be your thing!
One final note, the soundtrack is no where near as good as last game, terrible in fact, supprising for an "EA" game!
