One of the best PS2 racing games around with a few negatives. This is definitely the best of the series though.

User Rating: 9 | Need for Speed Most Wanted PS2
PROS: I really like the various race types like DRAG RACING which you rely quick button presses rather than actually steering, toll booth, rivals, etc. There are so many types of races that keep you interested in the game. The cars are great and you can customize them. Personally, I am not into all that customization but it is nice to have as I made some awesome cars. The pursuits can be very challenging and are probably more challenging at higher levels than the rivals. I pretty much dominate the rivals but reaching those Big Bounty milestones can be difficult if you don't try for the glitches.

CONS: I am gonna make some comparisons to the other good racings games. When I am driving +150 miles per hour and crash head on into a smaller oncoming car, WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN? Your car is suppose to be demolished in a thousand pieces like in the Burnout series. In NFS: Most Wanted, your car speed drops to like 130 mphs?! I know it is an arcade racer but can it be little bit more realistic? While the pursuits are fun, they can be little bit tedious especially those long pursuits and I hate to have to accomplish some of those necessary bounty milestones to move on. Some people just wanna race and not do pursuits. While some people like the open city to travel in, I still prefer the different environments that other games may have. Stages look somewhat repititive in the most wanted game. Another complaint is that WE NEED MORE MIA! The story was so awesome in the beginning with the cut scenes but then that was it. More Mia and cut scenes to improve the story. Another negative which really effected the replay value because I beat the game in 4 days is the GLITCHES in the game. You will find it easy to beat the pursuits when you find the many glitches.

***Even if you aren't a racing fan, this game is a must have for any PS2 owner as I give it a 9 out of 10. It's right up there with Burnout 3: Takedown.
