A well planned out game that gives a real solid gameplay experience.

Racing has always had a good footing in the gaming community and this one stands out as one of the better "tuner" games. The storyline actually feels thought out and well planned with the good twist right in the beginning of losing to your own car. The spread of buyable and winnable cars is a little on the light side with only 30 or so cars available in total compared to the indominable Grand Tourismo 650 and the Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition 60 plus cars. The music is by far the best entry in the series. The thrasher metal balances nicely with the Alternative metal/rock. It adds to the overall senses of urgency and speed. You might even find yourself singing along to some of the tracks. The graphics are mind blowing while boosting and taking nice tight drifting corners. The cut-scenes are blurry and sort of cartoony looking making one believe that they were trying to be artsy in the movie making or saving processing power for the actual racing itself. This game is worth every penny as far as racing games go. Whether you are the hardcore racer or just like watching pretty cars go really fast, this is worth the 49.99 price tag.
