In a nutshell - it's got some flaws, yes, but to me it's fun enough to keep going. It eats your money badly if you let it (as far as I observed), and definitely eats the game's "gold" currency, adding more and more layers of temptation to spend it. I personally play it for free and have grown to enjoy it within past couple months (to distract myself from some daily horrors that we've got in Ukraine), but many probably won’t enjoy the need to grind hard to get the descent stuff. I think I like practically everything about it though - the gameplay, the graphics (quite obsolete as of 2024, but cute), the 200 car roster, the poor funky track list. The ads are too much at times, but tolerable overall. So, the bottom line, I'm giving it an 8. I also have reposted this review to boast about successfully finishing the Ferrari F8 Tributo event that developers have added for the NFS Series 30th Anniversary. It was fun overall, had a cute little plot added to boost the nostalgia (for players like myself), but quite hard as I had to spend more than 700 gold plus to sleep poorly to get lots of free tickets. The event itself gets an 8 in my book, and it’s such a relief that this beautiful F8 (now dark blue) is in my garage.
