Bad Bad Bad Physics Just Broken Consumer Warning DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

This game is perhaps one of the poorest NFS games to date. First the good, the cars look and sound amazing, cockpit view is also great (if you like to you that view setting) and you can actually sell your cars back for pretty much what you put in them. Well that is it for the good.

Now the bad, first and foremost the physics in this game are just broken. A car DOES NOT skip across the race track when you start to loose control of it, they may spin, slide or perhaps go airborne, but they do not ever under any circumstances skip across the track. In my view that flaw right there ruins the entire game, if you cannot have a reasonable physics engine in a racing game the rest just does not matter. For all you NFS fan-boys don't argue this point because the cars do indeed skip, and that indeed does not happen in real life. I know this because I go to a track and do time trials and race others with my corvette, and I am not going to lie, I have crashed a few time and guess what it was never due to the fact that my car when skipping across the track, like a rock across water.

Another short coming of this game is that the loading time is horrible even if it is installed on the hard drive. Drifting is nonsense it just does not work right at all. Also, I agree with the gentleman that did the review about how the developers tried to cross a sim racing game with an arcade style racing game. All they made was a jack@ss of anyone who bought it. Finally they actually reward you for being an aggressive driver and ramming other drivers, that's fine for an arcade style racing game but the developers attempted to make this a sim. Again speaking from real life experience this is what happens if you drive like that, first you break your car and the other drivers car that you hit, second you don't keep going you get a DNF for results, you possibly hurt someone and/or yourself, there is a good chance at the amateur level that the other driver that you intentionally hit finds you later and intentionally hits you back with his fist, and finally you loose your racing license for driving like a moron.

So in conclusion, don't buy this game if you still want to play it just rent it, make sure you rent it for more than three days though because that time will be spent waiting for the game to load. Also, if you are going to make a sim make it like a sim and the same goes for an arcade style racer, hybrids just do not work.
