Utter utter disapointment...again
User Rating: 4.5 | Need for Speed Undercover PS3
Need for Speed Undercover was a huge disapointment, the game was tedious and thankfully short. I mean, pushing up on the D-Pad immediately took u to another race which eliminated the point of an open world (one of the ingredients that has made the franchise so popular), im sure they shouldve been working on ways to encourage the player to rome around?! 0.0 the good thing about roaming to the next race is that you start to get drawn into the fictional world and you start to memorise and become fimiliar with the streets. Something I really must admit that was good was car models (man they look sweet in photo mode) however, in saying that, the custimization options were a little disappointing and a little confusing to navigate at first. The career mode in underground 2 was much more engaging with the custimization system (visuals and all), however, undercover falls completely short of this, the only real reason to go to your 'garage' is to put performance upgrades to in order to beat your faster oponenets, other than that there are no rewards for the gamer for being creative with their cars. Enough said, undercover is a huge disappointment for fans who were expecting something along the lines of most wanted and got well...much less..all in all...in my opinion, this should be taken off your wishlist 5/10 from me.
