Immersive. One of the most memorable racing games ever.
The graphics at the time in 2004 was amazing, extremely detailed with great lightning and textures. The sound effects were all intense making you feel exhilarated while racing and the soundtrack itself was one to remember always. I still remember one of the band names Shinobi vs Ninja Dragon, awesome song, forgot the title. But i digress, this game looks and feels real. The underground racing scene was truly what i was into at the time and it did a very good job in making you feel like a brand new racer ready to challenge and take on the underground racing world and work you way to the top.
Overall, there arent many bad things i can say about the game except that i wish there was a good storyline to it. There were plenty of races to play in and many different game modes to participate in as well though there was no compelling story except making you feel as if you have to win every race in order to become the best in the city. I especially loved the open world roaming that it allowed you to be part of. The customization and the open world setting is quite honestly the biggest selling points to me about this game in particular. Add all that with great graphics, plenty of cars, and exciting fast paced memorable races and you got the makings of one incredible ride.
