User Rating: 9 | Need for Speed Underground 2 (Greatest Hits) PS2
Need For Speed Underground 2 (helluva name, heh) is a great game. If you liked the first one, you’ll love the second one. What’s not to like? The game play is the same, but with added features and upgrades. First off, no more clicking on a race to start a race. You can actually drive around a fake city, going from race to race. You can head to your garage or to your local body shop all by driving around in the city. There are more parts to upgrade your import with and they even included a dyno to help tune your machine for specific races such as drag racing or circuit. Now for some pros/cons: Pros: • Brook Burke • Free Roaming City • More parts to upgrade, even a dyno to help tune your ride for a unique experience • Better Races • Storyline is better than the first • Music • More cars • VW GTI, nuff said. Cons: • Graphics are weak sauce on the ps2. They’re not bad, but you can definitely tell this game is a ps2 game. • Rice Factor: I don’t like how the game forces you to rice out your car with stickers and graphics to get a popular rating or whatever. I prefer a sleek look. Now that you’ve read that, go buy the game. Or trade in some crappy games and get it. Just get it.
